David Anthony

Lifelong Student - Runner - Language Nerd - Developer

Front End/UX Developer

My interests are in responsive, dynamic webpages customized to your needs. I'm a university student studying finance by day, and a coder by night. My other interests include traveling, running, foreign languages, climbing, and any other random adventures I find myself doing.

Tribute Page

See the Pen Tribute Page for Gary Gordon and Randall Shughart by David Anthony (@danthony13) on CodePen.

This is a tribute page made using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. It illustrates the concept of having a simple, responsive design that presents essential information easily.

Mint Homepage

See the Pen Mint Homepage by David Anthony (@danthony13) on CodePen.

This is one of my older projects, remaking the Mint homepage using HTML and CSS. Although non-responsive, I like to include it as an example of how far my work has come in just a short time. This page was made in January 2016, and in that time I've learned Bootstrap, Responsive Design, and User Experience principles. I like the Mint page because it illustrates just how easy to use and powerful a simple design can really be.

Random Quotes

See the Pen Random Quote Generator by David Anthony (@danthony13) on CodePen.

This is a random quote generator. By clicking the New Quote button, it gives you a new quote on design. The quotes are stored in a JavaScript array that can easily be edited to include any quotes you want. It's written with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap in a minimalist, responsive design.

Wordpress Blog

This is a personal blog page I'm helping my wife put together. Although it's a Wordpress Template, it's giving me experience with Wordpress and understanding how Content Management Systems work. Additionally, it allows me to put the priniciples of user experience design into practice on a live site.
